What Attracts Mosquitoes?

• If you’ve lived in an area long enough, you know when mosquito season is coming around.   

• Mosquitoes tend to appear right before the summer months and can stick around into the fall. They tend to be most active in hot, humid weather. 

• They’re also attracted to standing water, tall grass, bushes, certain flowers, and various plant types. Mosquitoes also tend to be attracted to certain humans over others. They can identify those who are warm, sweating, and those who have higher levels of CO2 and chemicals emitting from their breath.
